Ahli Dubai midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou appealed against the UAE Football Association decision to suspend him for four matches. The Egyptian international, who is on loan at Ahli from Ismaili, was banned after being sent-off in Sunday's game against Wehda in the UAE Cup semi-final first leg. His off-ball challenge against an opponent prompted the referee to hand him a straight red card. "It deserves a red card but not a four-match ban. I didn't mean to hurt the player," Abd-Rabou told FilGoal.com on Thursday. The 24-year-old, who regained his form after a disappointing start to his Ahli adventure, scored nine goals for Ahli so far in all competitions. He is currently preparing with his Egypt teammates for Sunday's World Cup qualifier against Zambia. Watch Abd-Rabou's challenge
