Zamalek striker Gamal Hamza has passed a medical at Vasalunds IF to move a step closer to joining the Swedish side. Hamza, who has just finished a trial at the second division outfit, revealed that he's signing the deal on Saturday. "I will put my signature to the contract on Saturday, and then return to Egypt a couple of days later," the 27-year-old told FilGoal.com. "I will join Vasalunds on a four-month deal, and afterwards I will either extend my stay or move to a top-flight club, which Vasalunds chairman owns." Hamza will also be given a run-out on Saturday in a warm-up match, which is a part of Vasalunds' pre-season preparations. The Swedish second division gets underway in April.
