Zamalek have transfer listed skipper Ayman Abdul-Aziz, who reiterated that he wants to move away from the Cairo-based club this winter. After he revealed his intention of leaving the White Knights, the 31-year-old was heavily linked with an imminent abroad move. Consequently, Zamalek decided to pave the way for Abdul-Aziz's suitors to make solid offers. "We put him on the transfer list to see whether these clubs are really serious about acquiring his services or not," Zamalek marketing manager Khaled Refaat told FilGoal.com. "Ayman said on more than one occasion that he doesn't want to stay at Zamalek, and referred that several Turkish sides are targeting him. "For this reason, we want to give them the chance to submit their bids, and we shall look into them." Beforehand, agent Khaled Zekri confirmed that Turkey's Konyaspor have made overtures to land the veteran midfielder in the January transfer window on a loan basis till the end of the season. "We would accept any offer as long as it's suitable and cover what we paid to buy Abdul-Aziz early this season," Refaat elaborated. Disputes Days ago, Abdul-Aziz backtracked on his decision to immediately quit, after the departure of caretaker coach Ahmed Refaat and assistant coach Ahmed Ramzi. The former Trabzonspor midfielder declared that he wouldn't mind staying at Zamalek for a while longer. During Refaat's short tenure, Abdul-Aziz got involved in a host of disputes with the technical staff, and was kept on the fringes as a result. Now he is tipped to get back to the Turkish Super Lig, where he spent so many years of his career.
