Ittihad board decided to impose financial deductions on a number of first team players due to the team's poor run of results. Club financial director Fetouh Hegazi told FilGoal.com that EGP 10,000 will be deducted from each player after the Egyptian Cup exit at the hands of second division side Mansoura. Striker Abdul-Hamid Hassan tops the deductions list with EGP 60,000 after he publicly hit out at board member Hisham Al-Torki. Hassan has also missed the team's training and showed up late for sessions on more than one occasion. Defender Youssef Abdul-Rahim was also hit with an EGP 30,000 fine and striker Reda Metwalli with 20,000.
