Zamalek have completed their first January transfer by signing former SK Lierse full-back Omar Yassine. The 20-year-old moved to Zamalek for free, after earlier terminating his contract with the Belgian second division side. "Omar officially signed for Zamalek on Wednesday evening," the player's father and former Ahli legend Rabie Yassine told FilGoal.com. Zamalek were looking to sign a left flank player, after the board's decision to offload Brazilian Ricardo, as well as Osama Hassan's inconsistency since the start of the season. Yassine was earlier tipped to join Egyptian Premier League leaders Petrojet, before Zamalek intervened to snap up the ex-Ahli prodigy.
