Belgian second division side SK Lierse confirmed that the club received an offer from an Egyptian club enquiring about Egyptian defender Ahmed Samir. Lierse said on their official website on Wednesday that the unnamed Egyptian side were enquiring about the possibility of buying the former Egypt U21 right back. Despite Samir's first team commitments with the club, Lierse said they may be willing to let him leave if the right offer comes. After a career with Harras Al-Hodoud, Zamalek and Baladeya in Egypt, Samir is currently playing at Lierse alongside the Egyptian trio of Islam Shokri, Mohamed Abdul-Wahed and Omar Yassin.
