Ismaili agree with Zamalek on Fadl deal - agent
Published in FilGoal on 06 - 01 - 2009

Ismaili striker Mohamed Fadl is on the brink of moving to Zamalek as both clubs have reached a satisfying agreement, agent Mohamed Shiha said on Tuesday.
"Fadl is close to joining Zamalek after Ismaili chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan met with their officials," Ismaili-based Shiha told FilGoal.com.
Fadl, whose contract with Ismaili runs out by the end of the current season, decided to leave the club in January as the Dervishes didn't offer him a new contract.
After Zamalek had made overtures, the coastal club suggested exchanging their want-out hitman for either Mostafa Gaafar or Sherif Ashraf.
"Both clubs have worked out most of the details, but haven't decided yet whether Fadl will be included in a swap deal or not," said Shiha.
Kept in the Dark
Ironically, Fadl said he doesn't have a clue about the negotiations between Zamalek and Ismaili.
The 29-year-old assured that he would never seal a move this winter unless he received a worthwhile offer.
"Maybe there is a sort of agreement between both sides, but I haven't spoken to anyone," the international forward told FilGoal.com.
"Eventually, I will decide on my own future."
On the other hand, FilGoal.com found out that Zamalek are aiming to keep hold of frontline duo Gaafar and Ashraf.
Ashraf, who came from Ahli's youth ranks, would like to stay at the Cairo Giants, which might hamper the swap deal.
