Zamalek coach Reiner Hollmann called on the club temporary chairman Mohamed Amer to allocate specialties to the coaching staff members and to hire an Interpreter. The German tactician's future with the Cairo giants became doubtful after a succession of unsatisfying results, but eventually he was given his fourth vote of confidence. The interim president assured Hollmann that the club have every intention to keep him. The club's board has recently made several amendments to help the team end their winless run. Ahmed Refaat has been appointed as football director, Ahmed Ramzi and Momen Soliman as assistant coaches. Hollmann believes the technical staff members are all devoted, saying they would work more effectively if their roles were well defined. On top of that, he urged Amer to appoint a weight lifting trainer to improve the players' agility and strength. Currently, Zamalek lie fourth in the Egyptian League table with 18 points, trailing Leaders Petrojet by seven.
