The game at Port-Saied stadium was preceded by a farewell to the former Masri chairman, who passed away last weekend. Six minutes after the interval, Masri were awarded a penalty when Reda Al-Azab made a slight contact with Ahmed Shedid. Wagih Abdul-Azeem made no mistake from the spot. But Al-Azab made amends for his error in less than ten minutes, scoring a cracking free kick to put the visitors back in the game.
