Gamal Hamza, Mohamed Aboul-Ella and Osama Hassan will train separately from their teammates as a disciplinary measure, Zamalek announced on Sunday. The Cairo giants are getting tough on their underperforming players after a barren run saw them exit the CAF Champions League and stumble in the Egyptian League. "We will have to see if they will obey the technical staff's instructions," Zamalek football director Ahmed Refaat told the club's official website. Although Hamza has an undoubted talent, his recent displays have been below-par. The 27-year-old forward was also criticized for his theatrical dives whenever he surges into the penalty area. Midfielder Aboul-Ella engaged in heated exchanges with Zamalek fans while left-back Hassan's displays have been inconsistent. Earlier in the day, Zamalek revealed that Tunisian defender Wissem El-Abdi and Brazilian left-back Ricardo Alves will be transfer-listed in January. The White Knights said that El-Abdi faked injury while accusing Ricardo of skipping their league game against Arab Contractors for no obvious reason.
