Reiner Hollmann reiterated his request to have his sacked translator Mohamed Fouad back at Zamalek, a source close to the German coach said on Sunday. Although Zamalek did not disclose the reason for sacking Fouad, they were apparently frustrated by his interference in footballing matters. The club's football director Ahmed Refaat said on Saturday there was no need for a translator because all technical staff members 'speak English'. But Hollmann rejects such notion. "Hollmann is very angry at Zamalek's decision to sack Fouad," the source told FilGoal.com. "He believes the translator's role is very important to help him convey his instructions to the players." "Hollmann feels that Zamalek's board is trying to force him hand in his resignation by refusing to fulfill his demands as well as appointing a football director without his approval." The 59-year-old tactician is set to hold a meeting with Zamalek vice-president Mohamed Amer, who is temporarily acting as a chairman following the resignation of Mamdouh Abbas. FilGoal.com learned that Hollmann would demand Amer to exclude some of Zamalek's underperforming players as well as promoting several youngsters to the first team.
