Jose Mourinho lamented Inter Milan's defensive errors following the team's 3-3 draw at Anorthosis Famagusta in the UEFA Champions League. The Italian champions took the lead twice but some dreadful errors from Nicolas Burdisso helped Anorthosis of Cypus overturn the result in the second half. "For us it's just a positive result because we have almost qualified, but a team like ours should win easily," Mourinho told Sky Italia. "We let in goals like schoolkids and this shouldn't happen at this level. We should have won easily, I can't say any more than this." Substitute Julio Cruz spared Inter's blushes by notching the equalizer ten minutes from time. "Who knows what would have happened if they had scored ten minutes from the end? Caught up by the frenzy, we probably wouldn't have managed to draw." Despite the draw, Inter, who are bidding to win their first Champions League title since 1965, remain in pole position to reach the knockout stage. They are on top of Group B with eight points, three ahead of second-placed Famagusta with two matches to go. Panathinaikos are third on four points while Werder Bremen lie at the bottom on three.
