Emad Meteb's Ittihad Jeddah surrendered their lead twice to draw 2-2 with Al-Nassr in the Saudi League on Wednesday. Ittihad skipper Mohamed Nour put the visitors ahead in the 27th minute when he converted a penalty after being brought down by Al-Nassr keeper Mohamed Al-Khojali. Ahmed Mubarak drew Al-Nassr level one minute before the break after being set-up by Brazilian midfielder Elton Jose. Nour scored his second goal if the night to restore Ittihad's advantage in the first-half's stoppage time. Mubarak also completed his brace to secure a share of spoils three minutes past the hour mark. Despite the draw, Ittihad retained their place on top of the Saudi League table with ten points, one ahead of Al-Hilal and Al-Shabab. Egyptian striker Meteb, who joined Ittihad from Ahli on a season-long loan, started the game but failed to impress. He was replaced 13 minutes from time, making way for Naif Hazazi. The Egyptian international made a bright start to his Ittihad adventure by scoring three goals in as many games, but his recent displays have not been convincing.
