Ekrami confirms Ankaragucu departure

Goalkeeper Sherif Ekrami said that he will never play for Ankaragucu again after the Turkish outfit terminated his contract.
The former Ahli man was loaned out to Ankara from Feyenoord at the start of the season, but the player was released due to financial disagreements with the club.
"I'm glad that Ankara released me, I was planning to leave the club anyway," Ekrami told FilGoal.com on Tuesday.
"They did not fulfill mine or Feyenoord's financial dues."
Ekrami refused to comment on the possibility of rejoining Ahli, adding that his next destination might be heading back to Feyenoord or joining a Bundesliga club.
"When I talk about Ahli I always get misunderstood."
"If I say it's my favorite club people say I'm trying to force my way back, if I say I want to stay in Europe others think I lost my loyalty towards Ahli," said Ekrami.
