Egyptian striker Islam Shokri helped SK Lierse secure a 3-0 win over KAS Eupen in the player's league debut for the Belgian second division outfits. After only featuring for Lierse's reserves since his summer move to the club, Shokri earned his league debut after scoring nine goals in seven reserves' games. The former Ismaili man didn't disappoint after coming on in the 77th minute as his efforts resulted in Julien Tshiala scoring Lierse's second of the game. Egyptian winger Mohamed Abdul-Wahed also played a minor part in the win after coming on as an 85th minute substitute. It is worth noting that Lierse is owned by Egyptian businessman Maged Sami and the club have five Egyptians among their squad.
