Hossam Hassan quits as Masri manager
Published in FilGoal on 14 - 09 - 2008

Hossam Hassan said he quit as Masri manager because of what he described as the unfair treatment from referees and the Egyptian FA.
"Referees don't like me and my team suffer because of that," Hassan told Nile Sport.
"It seems that referees intend to be provocative just to drive me mad during games."
Hassan, Egypt's most capped player and seen as the greatest striker in the history of the six-time African champions, has been hit by fines and bans since taking over as Masri coach last season.
A trouble-maker during his prime as a player, Hassan failed to lose this image even after starting his coaching career.
He started the new season on the sidelines, serving a three-match ban imposed after last season's finale.
TV cameras spotted him trying to break into the field and assault the referee of his side's game against Telecom Egypt on Friday.
He is likely to be hit with a lengthy ban and a huge fine.
"I don't want to cause any damage to Masri's campaign. I will submit my resignation officially to the board of directors in the upcoming days."
