Ismaili: We are not involved in Abd-Rabou's new case
Published in FilGoal on 05 - 08 - 2008

Ismaili new chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan insisted that his club is not part of Hosni Abd-Rabou's fresh transfer problem, following the Egyptian FA's decision to put the midfielder's move to Ahli Dubai on hold.
The EFA announced on Monday that Abd-Rabou's ITC will not be sent to Ahli Dubai unless FIFA rule in the complicated case, which escalated as Egypt's Ahli insisted to preserve their rights in the player.
However, Aboul-Hassan believes that Ismaili are not part of the case, which also involves French side Strasbourg.
"Our deal with Ahli Dubai in Abd-Rabou's recent transfer is totally legal, because the move was approved by FIFA," the Ismaili chairman told FilGoal.com.
"The case involves Ahli (Egypt) and Strasbourg, apparently because Ahli have financial matters with Strasbourg."
Ahli paid Strasbourg €700,000 for Abd-Rabou last year, after which the Egypt international signed a contract with the Reds.
However, Strasbourg reached an agreement to sell the 25-year-old permanently to Ismaili, where he spent last season on loan.
