Mancini's agent confirms Inter exit
Published in FilGoal on 28 - 05 - 2008

Roberto Mancini is no longer in charge of Inter Milan, according to the Italian coach's agent Giorgio De Giorgis.
De Giorgis revealed that Mancini's meeting with Inter chairman Massimo Moratti on Tuesday only lasted 25 minutes as both parties failed to reach an agreement over the manager's future.
Mancini's future went under scrutiny after Inter's exit from the Champions League last season, but winning the Scudetto handed the former Italy star a lifeline.
However, it is now inevitable that Mancio will leave his post to Jose Mourinho, who has been repeatedly linked with the Inter job.
Disappointed
"Roberto didn't think that it would end like this," De Giorgis told Sportitalia TV.
"Rationally speaking from the outside I understood that something wasn't working.
"But Mancini is very disappointed because his job wasn't done and he could have won more Serie A titles and maybe the Champions League.

Mourinho in
"Now Mourinho will arrive and he will just have to repeat what Mancini has achieved in the last few years.
"Looking at Inter's form since January, I believe the pressure from above began to take its toll,” he continued.
"And then after the Liverpool game there was an outburst, which maybe Roberto could have avoided.
"I think he made a mistake then, he shouldn't have told anyone that he was leaving."
Chelsea Move
De Giorgis remained coy over the possibility that Mancini could replace the sacked Avram Grant as Chelsea coach, following reports by English media.
"Will he go to Chelsea? Roberto has a great pedigree and there are lots of teams who want his services," he said.
"Maybe he will take a holiday, but I hope that he will call me tomorrow because it isn't good for a Coach to be out for too long."
Despite De Giorgis' comments, Inter are yet to make an official statement on the matter.
