Ahli's midfielder Mohamed Barakat has been cleared by the medical staff to play against Platinum Stars, on Saturday, in the CAF Champions League round 16 first leg. A statement on the club's website said that the player recovered from his ankle injury and that he will be able to resume full trainings with his teammates on Friday. The 29-year old midfielder sprained his ankle during Thursday's training session and was doubtful for the game. The Red Devils suffered from some serious injuries as Emad Al-Nahas has been ruled out with a cross ligament injury while Ahmed Fathi is out for eight month with an Achilles Tendon rupture.
