Ismaili defender Sherif Abdul-Fadil has rebuffed on Wednesday reports linking him with a move to Egyptian champions Ahli. "I'm very happy to stay at Ismaili. I'm ready to pen a contract extension if I do not receive a good European offer," Abdul-Fadil told FilGoal.com. Local reports said that the combative defender has reached an agreement to join Ahli, who were recently crowned Egyptian champions for the fourth successive season. Many people suggested that Abdul-Fadil targets an Ahli move after he appeared on a TV show heaping praise on the Cairo giants. The 24-year-old said that every Egyptian footballer wishes to join Ahli due to the club's stability. However, he insists his comments were misunderstood. "My dream is to play in Europe but if I fail to fulfill it I will carry on with the Dervishes," Abdul-Fadil concluded.
