Barcelona claimed an unconvincing 1-0 victory over German side Schalke at Nou Camp to reach the UEFA Champions League semi-final with a 2-0 aggregate win. Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure scored the winner two minutes before halftime. Bojan Kirkic's deflected cross was poorly cleared a defender into the path of Toure, who made no mistake from close range. Barcelona will face English giants Manchester United in the semi-final after the latter overcame AS Roma. Despite their victory, Barcelona were far from convincing as they were put under huge pressure from Schalke in the opening half hour. "It was a difficult and tight match, but thankfully we managed to win and go through," Barca coach Frank Rijkaard told Arab and Radio Television (ART) after the match. "Schalke played very well but we deserved to qualify," the Dutchman added.
