Anderlecht midfielder Ahmed Hassan said he has been passed fit to participate in his side's Belgian League game against Westerlo on Sunday. Hassan suffered a groin strain in Wednesday's training session and was rated doubtful for Westerlo game. He felt much better on Saturday and was given the all-clear to take part in the match. "I've undergone a scan which showed that I'm injury-free," the Egypt skipper told FilGoal.com. Hassan, who will join Egyptian champions Egypt next season, wants to end the season with Anderlecht on a high note. "I want to leave a good impression among Anderlecht board and fans. I hope I can lead my team to Belgian Cup triumph this season." "We also target second place in the league to play in the UEFA Champions League next season," Hassan added. Anderlecht lie third in the league table with 55 points, two adrift of second-placed Club Brugge.
