Ismaili manager Ismail Hefni has been given a vote of confidence by the board despite the team's knock out from Egypt's Cup. "Hefni's job is safe and he will stay with us until the rest of the season," Ismaili's vice president Ibrahim Ashour told FilGoal.com. The Dervishes were stunned by Petrojet 3-0 and eliminated from round 16 of the Egyptian Cup. Ibrahim Ashour is now the boss in Ismaili as President Yehia Al-Kumi is absent following a rift with the board and Ismailia governor Abdul-Gelil Al-Fakharani. Elsewhere Mohamed Al-Etrawi and Rami Adel have been released by the club who is seeking for new recruits before the end of January.
