Alaa Abdul-Ghani has been included in Zamalek's 17-man squad for the Egyptian Cup round of 32 game against third division side Ismailia Electricity after recovering from injury. The energetic midfielder will give Zamalek a perfectly-timed boost by returning to action on Friday after a lengthy lay-off. Zamalek deeply suffered from the absence of Abdul-Ghani as Ahmed Magdi and Tamer Abdul-Hamid failed to impress in the heart of the team's midfield. Mohamed Aboul-Ella has been also named after ending a dispute over the team's skipper armband. Defenders Amr Al-Safti and Karim Zekri have returned to the squad to compensate for the absence of Mahmoud Fathallah and Wissem El-Abdi, who are away on international duty. Hazem Emam and Abdul-Hamid will miss the match through injuries while Ahmed Ghanem won't feature due to suspension. Right-back Ahmed Hossam sustained a minor knock. He is set to undergo scans later on Thursday to determine whether he will be available or not.
