Werder Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs could replace his Bayern Munich counterpart Uli Hoeness in 2009, Bild reported on Wednesday. "My contract runs out in 2009. There are clubs interested in my services but Bremen will be my first option," Allofs told the German daily. "I can not promise that I will stay with Bremen, I should first talk to the board. They have to be aware that there interests from other clubs." Bild suggested that Allofs would take over at Bavarian giants Bayern. The paper also stated that current Bayern vice-president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge will replace chairman Franz Beckenbauer.
