Arminia Bielefeld ended a run of seven winless games after beating Nuremberg 3-1 at home in the Bundesliga on Sunday. Andreas Wolf opened the scoring for the visitors in the 42nd minute but Arminia responded severely in the second half with strikes from Ruediger Kauf, 62, Artur Wichniarek, 75, and Sibusiso Zuma, 90. Bielefeld, who registered their first victory since September 15th when they beat Hansa Rostock in day 5 of the Bundesliga, are 14th of the table with 15 points from 13 games. In the other match of the day, Bayer Leverkusen edged past Wolfsburg 2-1. Swiss international Tranquillo Barnetta opened the scoring in the 37th minute and Stefan Kiessling doubled the lead 15 minutes later. In the 70th minute, defender Manuel Friedrich converted a goal into his own net to end the game on a precious 2-1 away victory for Bayer Leverkusen. They climb to fifth spot with 21 points, seven behind leaders Bayern Munich.
