Ittihad vice-president Mohamed Moselhi said he will meet with Hossam Hassan on Sunday to put an end to the dispute that marred the team's campaign. The veteran striker was fined by Ittihad after flying to UAE to take part in a charity match without permission. Hassan insisted that he informed coach Mohamed Salah's of his intention to travel to the Gulf country but Ittihad board said the 41-year-old frontman should have taken their approval. "We will decide whether he will link-up with the team or terminate his contract," Moselhi told FilGoal.com. Although the former Ahli and Zamalek striker recently said he will depart Ittihad in January, a definite decision is set to be announced after the meeting. Ittihad, who have registered their first win of the new season after thumping Aluminum 5-0, lie third from bottom in the league table with seven points. Hassan, who arrived from Tersana in the close season, is yet to open his account for the Alexandria-based club.
