I was forced to reject Zamalek role, says Youssef

Al-Wehdat coach Ismail Youssef said that the Jordanian club's reaction to his move to Zamalek was the only obstacle that prevented a return to his former club.
Youssef has been offered an assistant coach role at the Cairo club, which he apparently accepted, but Wehdat refused to let go their head coach.
"Zamalek is my home, I did not hesitate to help the club get over its current crisis, but Wehdat officials stick to me and I appreciate their attitude," Youssef told Al-Rai Jordanian newspaper.
Ruud Krol's team is struggling with form in the Egyptian league, where they lie seventh with 10 points from seven games.

Saad failed to impress Krol
Zamalek signed winger Khaled Saad from Wehdat's arch rivals Faisali this summer in an attempt to reinforce the squad, but the Jordan international failed to impress manager Ruud Krol.
"I have spoken with Krol about Saad, he said that he demands more defensive duties from the player, who has a more attacking nature and that's why he is struggling to establish his place in the team," Youssef added.
Saad is yet to make his full Zamalek debut as the 26-year-old was introduced as a late substitute in the Whites' opening day 1-0 defeat to Ismaili.
