Germany and Bayern Munich will have to do in the Euro qualifiers 2008 and the UEFA Cup without star striker Miroslav Klose who has been ruled out for at least three weeks because of a knee injury. "He will definitely be out, and probably against Nürnberg and for the German national team too,” Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld was quoted saying on the club's website on Tuesday. "He needs at least three weeks," added the German tactician. Germany will play against Czech Republic and Ireland later this month while Bayern are going to face Belenenses in the UEFA Cup in addition to the league games. Both have tough missions as the Mannschaft are top of their table with only two points ahead of the Czechs while Bayern registered a narrow 1-0 victory over Belenenses in the UEFA Cup first round. Klose is the Bundesliga top scorer with eight goals.
