Werder Bremen goalkeeper Tim Wiese fumed out after being overlooked by Germany manager Joachim Loew for the Euro 2008 qualifiers against Wales and Romania. Wiese is still uncapped for the Nationalmannschaft, and as a result, the 25-year old custodian seems to have lost his patience after being continuously snubbed. "I've given up hope of making the national team. I obviously don't seem to fit in there," he told Bild magazine on Wednesday. The Bremen keeper questioned Loew's goalkeeping selections in deputy for first-choice guardian Jens Lehmann. "I've been playing at a constantly high level in both the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League over the last 18 months," he said. "Instead of me, someone like Timo Hildebrand gets nominated, who is only on the bench at Valencia, or Robert Enke who plays for a mid-table team in Hannover. "I've been playing at the top level both nationally and internationally and just don't understand what's going on."
