The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to delay Ahli's second week Egyptian league game against Ghazl Mahalla, initially scheduled for the 24th of August, for one day to be played on the 25th. Egypt will face Ivory Coast on August 22nd in France, and Ahli's international players will not have enough time to return for the Mahalla game one day later. Ahli's official site said that assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri met with Egypt's managing director Samir Adli to arrange Ahli players' joining to the national team. On the other hand, Ahli coach Manuel Jose will announce the 18-man squad to represent the African champions in the Egyptian Super Cup against Ismaili on Thursday.
