Sudanese giants Al-Merrikh registered their biggest African win in history after thrashing Nigeria's Dolphin FC 6-1 at home to move on top of Group B in the CAF Confederation Cup. Faisal Ajab's brace in addition to goals from Mogahed Ahmed, Mousa Al-Zouma, Endurance Idahor and Mohamed Safari led Al-Merrikh to the memorable victory. The win extended Al-Merrikh's home winning streak to 12 matches in African competitions. They moved to the top of Group B with four points, one clear of second-placed Dolpin. Egyptian side Ismaili, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kwara United, lie third on two points, one ahead of the Nigerian outfit.
