Egyptian keeper Sherif Ekrami has penned a two-year contract extension with Feyenoord Rotterdam, the Dutch club announced on Sunday. The new deal will keep the 24-year-old shot-stopper at De Kuip until 2010, according to Feyenoord official website. Ekrami joined Feyenoord from Ahli youth ranks in 2005 but managed to play just six Eredivisie games. Feyenoord will miss European football for the first time in 16 years after finishing ninth in the Eredivisie last season.
