Ahli keeper Essam Al-Hadari will undergo surgery on Monday to repair a fractured bone in his face sustained during his side's CAF Champions League match against Esperance. Al-Hadari's doctor told FilGoal.com on Saturday that the surgery has been delayed for 48 hours in order for the Egypt international guardian to recover from a face swelling. The 33-year-old collided with an Esperance player late in Ahli's 3-0 victory over the Tunisians on Friday but was able to play for the remaining few minutes. Ahli's team doctor Ehab Ali said Al-Hadari would be sidelined for up to four months but the goalie is hoping to recover earlier than expected. "I want to be back in action within two weeks. When I was hit in my face, I didn't except the injury to be serious," he told FilGoal.com.
