Ahli goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadari will be sidelined for four weeks after he suffered a facial injury during Ahli's 3-0 CAF Champions League win over Esperance on Friday. The Egypt number 1 guardian collided with an Esperance player late in the game, but he was able to play for the remaining few minutes. However, the team's medic Ehab Ali confirmed that a facial injury will keep Al-Hadari out of action for at least three weeks. "Al-Hadari has a broken bone in his face, and he will be out for three or four weeks," Ali told Dream TV after the game. Al-Hadari is likely to miss Ahli's Super Cup match on August 9th, against an opponent who is yet to be decided by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA).
