Barcelona admitted that French midfielder Ludovic Giuly is set to move to AS Roma during the next few days. "The agreement with Roma is closed but the player has yet to sign his contract," Barca sporting director Txiki Begiristain was quoted saying on the club's Web site. "He's undergoing a medical right now." The deal should be sealed for a fee up to 4.5 million euros. The 31-year-old midfielder is believed to have agreed on a three-year-deal with the Romans. Giuly failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Frank Rijkaard's formation and with the arrival of French ace Thierry Henry he will have very little to do.
