Veteran striker Hossam Hassan scored his sixth goal for Tersana in the Egyptian League this season to lead them to a 2-0 away victory over Masri on Thursday. The 40-year-old grabbed the opener on the stroke of the hour mark before Karim Adel sealed the victory in stoppage time. Hassan took his tally in the Egyptian League history to 168 goals, just eight short of surpassing Hassan Al-Shazli's record. Masri played with ten men on the field in the last 10 minutes after defender Ayman Ramadan was sent-off for a reckless tackle. The victory lifted Tersana to the 12th place in the league table with 25 points, ahead of Masri on goal difference and four points above the relegation zone. Elsewhere, defender Mohamed Younis struck home three minutes from time to help ENPPI claim a 1-0 home victory over Ittihad Alexandria. Petroleum club ENPPI moved to fifth spot on 33 points, two adrift of fourth-placed Ghazl Mahalla while Ittihad lie tenth with 28 points.
