Veteran goalkeeper Santiago Canizares has pledged his future to see Valencia by extending his current contract until 2009, the club said on Thursday. The 37-year-old international shot-stopper has expressed his delight by his contract renewal. "On a personal level I have had some very good moments in my time at Valencia, although today might have been among the best," Canizares told Spanish daily Marca. Valencia president Juan Soler was happy by Canizares's presence in the team. "Canizares is a living history for Valencia, he deserves two more years. Canziares joined Valencia in 1998 from Real Madrid and won two league titles with Los Ches and featured in two consecutive UEFA Champions League finals.
