A goal from Louis Saha gave Manchester United a slender 1-0 away win over Benfica in their UEFA Champions League Group F match on Tuesday. Saha struck on the hour to give the Red Devils their second win in the group which they now lead with 6 points. The France international settled the tense affair when he cut from the right wing and unleashed an unstoppable drive past Benfica keeper Quim.
Miller Quim saved Benfica more blushes late in the game when he produced a brilliant triple save denying Gabriel Heinze, Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick respectively. Elsewhere, Celtic edged past FC Copenhagen with a 1-0 win courtesy of a Kenny Miller penalty kick. The win put Celtic in second spot on 3 points, two ahead of second placed Benfica as the Danish side struggle to find their first point.
