Le gardien international de Zamalek, Mohamed Abdel Moncef, a annoncé qu'il a décidé de quitter le club après que le directeur technique Manuel Cajuda lui a dit qu'il ne comptait plus sur lui pour la prochaine saison. 'J'ai décidé de quitter Zamalek et je vais discuter avec le président du club Raouf Gasser pour accepter les offres qui seront présentées.' A il déclaré à filgoal.com Cajuda avait eu une réunion avec Abdel Moncef au cours de laquelle il lui avait annoncé qu'il n'allait pas compter sur lui la saison prochaine et que s'il sera inscrit dans l'effectif du club ce serait à cause des pressions de l'administration. 'Je n'ai participé qu'à 15 minutes lors des matchs amicaux. Or je ne compte pas jouer le rôe de salarié à Zamalek et je veux jouer pour garder ma place dans la sélection à il déclaré. Il est à noter que Zamalek est sur la piste de plusieurs gardiens à présent sur demande de Cajuda.
