Le club londonien de Tottenham a annoncé le vendredi qu'il ne comptait pas poursuivre les négociations avec l'AS Rome pour acheter le contrat d'Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido'. La direction du club a annoncé que Mido rentrerait à Rome et ceci après la fin de son contrat de prêt. En effet Tottenham a recruté l'attaquant bulgare, Dimitar Berbatov pour une somme de 20 millions de dollars. En tout cas Mido a reçu de nombreuses offres en Angleterre et il est fort probable qu'il fasse un déplacement permanent en Bretagne.
