Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard said he was delighted with his side's UEFA Champions League triumph at the expense of Arsenal, while paying tribute to all the parties who contributed to the club's success. "It's such joy, such happiness. I'm experiencing a great moment, I feel such incredible emotion and happiness," Rijkaard was quoted as saying by Barcelona's official website on Thursday. "I am happy with so much common sense, because the players have worked hard all season and I am happy for the directors," he added. Barcelona were crowned European champions after a 2-1 comeback victory over 10-man Arsenal in the Champions League final that took place at the Stade de France on Wednesday. Brazilian substitute Juliano Belleti fired home the winner for Barcelona in the 81st minute. Samuel Eto'o had brought Barcelona at level with a 76th minute strike after veteran defender Sol Campbell headed Arsenal in front in the 37th minute. The Dutch boss heaped to the praise of goalkeeper Victor Valdes and Cameroon striker Eto'o, who played a crucial role in handing Barca their second UCL trophy in history. "There can be no doubt that he (Valdes) has once again played a very important role. Thanks to his saves the rest of the team's confidence grew and they found the mentality to get the job done," he said. "If the team scores two goals, and Eto'o scores one, it's very important. He did a great job, but it is the team as whole that really matters," he added. Rijkaard hailed the performance of Arsenal, who played the majority of the match with 10 men. "Even with 10 men, Arsenal were dangerous on the counter-attack. They were very organised and we had to wait and wait for the equaliser and that takes strength from the players," he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
