DNA tests, conducted to establish the identity of three badly charred persons who were burnt to death after their car fell off el-Tonsi Bridge and burst into flames when it hit the ground near a flee market on the outskirts of Cairo early Tuesday, proved that the victims were men in their thirties and not a three-member family as the police claimed on the day of the incident, medical examiners said Thursday. "The DNA tests, which are being conducted at Cairo Morgue, showed that these unidentified persons were men in their thirties and their identities would be established shortly," they said. A huge fire, which raged for five hours through el-Tonsi flee market, broke out after the three men's small car exploded near a cafe shop full of butane cylinders. Hundreds of wooden shops, used as store rooms, were destroyed in the fire, which started after the car accident.
