Egypt's Hosni Abd-Rabou scored twice as Dubai-based club Al-Ahly humiliated 10-man Ajman 8-0 in the UAE Football League on Thursday night. Ajman had defender Ahmed Ibrahim sent off after 19 minutes and Ahly's Ahmed Khalil converted the ensuing penalty to put the hosts ahead. Egypt midfielder Abd-Rabou doubled Ahly's lead in the 34th minute with a delicate finish after a neat exchange of passes with a teammate. He also completed the rout with an eighth goal ten minutes from time when he latched onto a deft through pass to break clear of defense, round the keeper and slot into an empty net. Two goals from Brazilian striker Bare, two from his compatriot Cesar and one from Youssef Gaber gave title holders Ahly, who lie sixth in the league table, an emphatic win. Abd-Rabou, whose two-year loan spell with Ahly comes to an end in the summer, took his tally to seven league goals this season. He is set to return to Ismaili next season but Egyptian champions Ahly made no secret of their desire to acquire his services.
