CAIRO …quot; Thousands of Egyptian protesters flocked to Al-Tahrir Square Friday morning to participate in what is called the "Friday of purge" demonstration. Friday's protest is expected to comprise almost all sects of Egyptian society, calling for bringing to justice ousted president Hosni Mubarak, his family and his aides, who spoilt political life and were involved in graft cases. More than 50,000 protesters have gathered on Friday in the epicentre of the iconic square, sources told The Gazette. Protesters are urging the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) to try the Mubaraks and tainted former officials. They also ask the SCAF to recover stolen money, in addition to sacking governors and dissolving municipal councils.
