CAIRO, March 9, 2018 -The Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) will hold its 2nd forum on science on Saturday at its premises in Borg el-Arab district of Alexandria. The forum will tackle the latest Japanese scientific and technological developments in engineering and business administration. It aims at introducing students to the latest Japanese scientific research and its achievements, which positively affects students' study and their career selections in the future. The forum will include a competition for innovation to provide opportunities for high and secondary school students to meet with life science professionals, and exhibit their innovations in the fields of Nanoscience, Engineering and Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biology and Agricultural Sciences. The one-day forum includes also a workshop where the participating students will be divided into subgroups to discuss various issues related to science, technology and humanities. The event will be attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Egypt, Takehiro Kagawa, who will give a lecture to encourage students on how to build their academic future. Ahmed el-Gohary, the President of the E-JUST, will also attend the event.
