D.O.S.E project's success and features
One of the company's flagship projects is D.O.S.E, a resort located in the Ras El Hekma area, the New North Coast. The project has achieved great customer demand since its launch, reaching a sales volume of nearly EGP 5bn, Mohamed told Daily News Egypt. The project covers an area of 125 feddan, with a total investment of about EGP 8bn. It offers new and unique services in the New North Coast area, such as a beach with a seafront of 450 metres, artificial lakes covering 9 feddan, more than 60% of units with sea view, and 30 tourist caves with private pools and panoramic view. In addition, there are serviced residences and a 5-star international hotel, a shopping mall, a private beach, a central kitchen, and special places for children's activities, not to mention several restaurants and cafes, as well as a club house.
Plans and opportunities
Mohamed stated that the company intends to enter the Saudi market soon, as there are serious studies for some specific projects in light of the major urban renaissance that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing. He also revealed that the company has an ambitious plan to expand within the Egyptian market by launching new urban projects that are in line with its approach to developing sustainable and unique urban projects.
He pointed out that the urban renaissance that Egypt is witnessing now has given a strong motivation to Egyptian companies and Arab and foreign investors to expand in the Egyptian market. He added that the state's expansion in establishing new cities and urban projects, especially in fourth generation cities, and the state's interest in developing the North Coast region will contribute to placing Egypt on the global tourism map and achieving sustainable development in the region.
A milestone in the hospitality sector
Moreover, Akam Al Rajhi Developments has signed a cooperation protocol with IHG Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's top hospitality companies, to manage and operate VOCO Hotel within the D.O.S.E project. This is the first hotel to hold the VOCO brand in the world for hotels on the Mediterranean coast, and it reflects the company's vision to provide its customers with the best services and facilities.
VOCO Hotel is located within the D.O.S.E project. The hotel comprises 300 serviced units, chalets, and twin houses directly on the sea, offering a stunning 360-degree view of the beach. The hotel also provides access to all the entertainment and tourism services of the project, such as natural landscapes, artificial lakes, swimming pools, a health club, running and cycling paths, a shopping center, a park. The hotel aims to provide the highest levels of comfort and happiness to its residents.
