Ahly thrash Gelsenkirchen as youngster hits treble

CAIRO: Ahly battered Gelsenkirchen 5-0 in their first pre-season exhibition match that saw promising youngster Ahmed "Manga Nabil score a hat-trick.
Osama Hosni and Hani Al-Egeizi completed the rout, while the German minnows were completely helpless.
Ahly s newly-appointed coach Hossam Al-Badri put a good number of new faces through their paces in the game, including Manga who gave an impressive performance.
Egyptian champions Ahly will face Egypt Cup holders Harras Hodoud in the Super Cup on July 21.
Alongside Barcelona, Celtic and Tottenham, the Red Devils will be participating in a pre-season friendly tournament to be held at London s Wembley stadium between July 24 and 26.
