Hadari hits back at Constantin
Published in Daily News Egypt on 16 - 11 - 2008

CAIRO: Essam Al-Hadari criticized Sion chairman-coach Christian Constantin over the latter s comments regarding the Egypt goalie s place in the first team.
Al-Hadari returned to the starting line-up in Sion s 3-1 win over Vaduz on Saturday after he missed the 2-1 defeat at Bellinzona last week.
Constantin claimed last week that Hadari s exclusion from the Bellinzona game was a tactical decision, issuing a warning for the veteran keeper.
I was shocked by Constantin s comments after the Bellinzona match. He said that he decided to exclude me, but that is not the truth, Hadari told FilGoal.com.
He also said that I am in danger of losing my place in the first team if I did not improve. But I returned against Vaduz, and that proves my point.
What happened is that I asked to skip the game because I did not feel 100 percent fit, and also because I was distracted by the team s poor form, he added.
Hadari is set to leave Sion in the winter break, as a move to the French Ligue1 could well be the next move for the ex-Ahly goal keeper.
