HP Hosts ‘Happy Pictures Campaign' In Partnership with Bab Al Shabab
Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 15 - 07 - 2013

HP Middle East has recently hosted a ‘Happy Pictures Campaign, in partnership with Bab Al Shabab, an online site designed to make the lives of students in the UAE region easier by providing access to relevant student-focused information.
The campaign invited participants from various UAE universities to demonstrate their creativity and talents by ‘painting' their own individual and joyful images using the hybrid HP ENVY x2 PC with pre-loaded Microsoft Fresh Paint application.
Students drew their ‘dream holiday destination' using Fresh Paint, a standalone app that allows users to create artwork on the HP touch-capable Windows 8 device by simply drawing on the screen with their fingers.
Mohit Bector, Area Category Manager, Notebooks, HP Printing and Personal Systems, Middle East, gave an overview on HP ENVY x2, a powerful and ultrathin hybrid notebook with the advantages of being two devices in one.
The HP ENVY x2 solves the "Do I bring my notebook or tablet?" dilemma. Featuring a sleek aluminum finish and an innovative hinge with magnets that smoothly guide the tablet into place, the HP ENVY x2 weighs 1.4 kg. When separated, the tablet portion weighs just 0.71 kg. Users can interact directly with the optimized Windows 8 touch interface on the HP ENVY x2's vivid 29.4 cm (11.6") HD) touch display
The HP ENVY x2 also features Beats AudioTM for the best-sounding, richest audio experience available on a PC and comes with a battery that lasts for 19 hours, having a battery in both the base and the slate. With this new user-friendly technology, customers have the power at their fingertips to create rich content and at the same time, with a simple motion, one that lets them enjoy fantastic entertainment on the go, together in one stunning device.
Mohit also highlighted HP recent launches and interacted with the students who were interested to know more about HP's latest product advancements and technologies. With the latest ten finger sensing TouchSmart Technology, HP's new range of laptops, desktops and hybrid tablets gives tech savvy consumers control of their personal computing like never before.
The winner of the artistic competition was Nalin Raj from Middlesex University who drew a stunning rendition of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
